You should contact your local council for information on local planning laws, we are happy to support you through this process and will work with all parties involved to make your dream cabin a reality.
How long do cabins last?
Our timber-frame cabins will last a lifetime. They are constructed in the same way as modern timber-frame houses. There is a range of external claddings you can choose from to protect the internal structure of your cabin. Examples of these include render boards which are then plastered for a traditional house finish, steel cladding for an agricultural finish or timber cladding for a log cabin finish. While plaster and steel cladding finishes will ensure your cabin lasts as long as a traditional house, so can a timber cladding finish as long as it is properly maintained

What roofing is used?
We use UPVC coated steel roof cladding with an anti-condensation barrier. You can choose from box profile or tile effect roofing.
How to heat my cabin?
Our cabins are insulated to the highest standard, keeping your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer, requiring very little heat from external sources. For smaller cabins electric radiators will be sufficient, while heating such as oil/gas boilers or pellet stoves can be used in larger spaces.
